 Salvation 

Heaven is a free gift.  It is not earned or deserved.  You cannot get into heaven by just being a good person or by only doing good things.  These are important, but they alone won't get you into heaven.

 Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by Grace ye are saved by faith and that not of yourselves; It is the gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast."

Man is a sinner.  We are all sinners.

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

Romans 3:10 "There in none righteous, no not one."

God is just and merciful.  He loves us but he must punish sin.

Jesus died on the cross for our sins.  Jesus died to save you and me.

The only way to receive heaven is through Jesus.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever shall beleive in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life."

John 14:6 "I am the way the truth and the light; no man cometh unto the father but by me."

Ask yourself:

If I died right now, would I go to heaven?

If I died why should God let me into his beautiful heaven?

Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." 

If you have come to the place in your life where you are ready for salvation:

Admit that you are a sinner and turn away from sin.

Confess your sins to God.

Beleive that Jesus is your savior and that he died for you sins.

Pray:

Lord I am a sinner.  I am ready to turn away from my sins.  Lord please forgive me.  Lord please save me.  I believe that Jesus is my savior and he died on the cross for my sins.

Amen 

If you prayed this prayer then you are saved.  In order to live a godly life please do the following:

Pray daily and read your Bible.  Build a strong relationship with God.  Find a Bible based church to become involved in.
